Scot McKnight has an interesting interview with an unchurched person who was affected by something called "party evangelism." It’s good to hear stories about people coming to faith and getting connected to the body of Christ through some of the ideas that still seem novel for some. There is sometimes a tendency among traditional-types to poo-poo new approaches to church and evangelism (probably a reaction to the tendency among some emerging-types to do new things just for the sake of novelty), but this is an example of why we need to be thinking and acting outside the traditional boundaries of "how to do church" and "how to do evangelism".
Scot is a professor of New Testament at North Park in Chicago, and as such often has very good blogged Bible studies. He just started one on Romans.
