LibraryThing is the latest cool thing I’ve found on the Internet. It’s kind of like del.icio.us, except with books instead of links. Essentially you can create an online database of all the books you own (or have read, or borrowed, or want to read, etc). You can tag your books, rate them, see what other people think about them. One of the coolest things is having it suggest new books for you based on comparing the contents of your library with others’ of similar tastes.
The little widget to the right is 12 random books from my library. If you click on the link and buy a book, Amazon gives me money for referring you.
I am in the process of trying to put all the books I own on LibraryThing. So for those who are curious, check out my LibraryThing. You can also check out my del.icio.us links (although I still haven’t quite gotten into the habit of automatically storing links online, so these are somewhat sporadic and random).
Cool project…it seems like you read tons…so this is a really cool resource for you.
Hope your amazon links work well for you…mine hardly did anything for me, so I cut them…but if I see something I’m interested I will definitly consider clicking over from your blog…I love amazon and I love seeing what you’re reading.

Thanks RC. I doubt I’ll get much from the Amazon links, either, but it’s a fun experiment.
