Hi Ben - Most website owners just assume that their visitors and readers know that copying and re-purposing content is not always allowed. What you have done, and it's a great idea, is taken it a step farther and disclosed exactly what is and isn't allowed. These are good measures to take to deter those who just don't know that duplicating content is something that Google frowns upon. Ultimately, this helps keep the integrity of your site.
