As most of you probably are aware, today is 09/09/09. This morning at 9:09 Central time, an interesting conference started, called The Nines.
Essentially a whole bunch of Christian leaders give 9-minute video presentations, one after the other. Sounds intriguing, and exhausting, I imagine, after a few talks. I was looking forward to hearing Jon Tyson, but his talk had technical difficulties, and will be on sometime later, I guess.
I’m a tad too busy to really tune in today, but check it out if you’ve got some time. The presentations are sort of varied, in terms of their helpfulness, but so far there have been a few good quotes and such. It was also the number one trending topic on Twitter today (but now “Apple,” “iTunes 9″ and “Steve Jobs” are winning – and who knows what will happen with the Beatles today? Everyone wants to cash in on 09/09/09).
UPDATE: Jon Tyson’s video went on right after I published this – it was good!
