Silence prayer

A prayer by David Adam, to calm your soul if you’re feeling stressed and burdened this time of year:

I weave silence onto my lips
I weave silence into my mind
I weave silence within my heart
I close my ears to distraction
I close my eyes to attractions
I close my heart to temptations
